  1. A kakapo is a nocturnal, flightless parrot 
  2. Strigops habroptilus that lives in burrows in 
  3. New Zealand. It is green, yellow, and brown 
  4. and weighs up to 3½kg (7½lb). When in danger, 
  5. its main defence is to keep quite still.
